When I Grow Up Round-Up, featuring Etsy Success, CreateHYPE, Create as Folk, Forest of Stories Unfettered Ink!

When I Grow Up Round-Up, featuring Etsy Success, CreateHYPE, Create as Folk, Forest of Stories Unfettered Ink! Watch live streaming video from etsy at livestream.com I was thrilled times infinity to sit down with Danielle Maveal of Etsy last week for an  Etsy Success QA: Running Your Creative Small Business While Still Being a Grown-Up! Danielle asked me some  questions that came directly from Etsy sellers, but wound up being applicable for any creative type looking to leave their day job. Questions like: How do you  stay motivated and on task in business and in life? Ive recently decided not to return to my teaching job (yikes!). Any advice on  negotiating transferable skills, learning how to  target my market, or develop a  new network of contacts outside of LinkedIn? How to be  pro-active in your business when times are slow? Any  online tools for productivity that are right-brain friendly? Once you find out who your target market is, how do you  use that information to reach them? What can you do when youre just starting out in order to lay  a strong business foundation? You can above (or right here!) and get all the goodies at your leisure. Of course, if theres anything that wasnt covered that you wanna ask, then just comment below and I promise to get it to. That would make me super happy. Also, I have to send more super many thanks to all the amazeballs hosts Ive had this week, including: Brigitte Lyons of Unfettered Ink for hosting  an  Operation: Creative Career Cheer! giveaway (and yes, theres still time to answer!) Sara Blackthorne of Forest of Stories for asking me questions about  aligning Your Dream Career with Your Heart-Centric Stories. Ive never been so thrilled to talk about such hippy-dippy stuff. Justine Grey of CreateHYPE for featuring me as  her first Inspirational Interview. Love the new site, and so happy to be a part of it! Laura Simms of Create as Folk for interviewin me so we can get some rears in gear. Indeed, indeed. Tiffany Moore of Crafty Fanny gushing about how much were in love. Oh, and my career change workbook. Also, if youre reading this before noon Eastern, then make sure you click over to enter to win Danielle LaPortes Spark Kit, a $150 value! Whew! OK, thats all for the link love, for now. Be back soon to announce The Spark Kit winner!
